Location

Barneville-sur-Mer (now Barneville-Carteret) was a small town and seaside resort on the west coast of the Cherbourg Peninsula. The former Barneville Communal Cemetery (east of Barneville-Carteret) is located at 4 Chemin du Lilet, on the left on the D.650 road coming from La Haye towards Les Pieux. There is 1 Commonwealth burial of the 1939-1945 war here, in the north-western part, some 7 yards north of the Calvary in the main path.
